About

About LinuxAdvisor.net

LinuxAdvisor.net exists to make Linux decisions and troubleshooting clearer without pretending every distribution behaves the same or turning every question into a certification sale.

What LinuxAdvisor.net covers

LinuxAdvisor.net is an independent practical Linux guidance site focused on choosing, learning, using, maintaining and troubleshooting Linux. It is deliberately separate from the owner’s Linux certification properties so a troubleshooting or distribution-choice query is not turned into a certification page.

What we do not claim

  • We do not claim first-hand testing unless a page explicitly documents it.
  • We do not invent commands, product testing, compatibility, credentials, testimonials or performance claims.
  • We do not imply endorsement by The Linux Foundation, Linux distributions, hardware vendors or Amazon.
  • We do not publish destructive commands as casual defaults.

How recommendations are made

Recommendations start with the visitor problem, then use current first-party documentation where possible. Commercial links are included only when a product or training option is a natural next step and the affiliate relationship is disclosed.
