Privacy Policy
LinuxAdvisor.net collects only the information a visitor chooses to submit through the contact form in the launch build. Affiliate merchants process their own data when a visitor follows an outbound link.
Information submitted through the contact form
The contact form asks for your name, email address, topic, optional page URL and message. That information is used to review and respond to the message and to investigate corrections, broken links or site problems. Do not submit passwords, private keys or other sensitive credentials.
Affiliate links
Outbound affiliate links may identify LinuxAdvisor.net or the owner’s affiliate account to the destination merchant so commissions can be attributed. The destination merchant’s own privacy and cookie practices apply after you leave this site.
Cookies and analytics
The launch build does not require non-essential first-party tracking cookies or an analytics script. If analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking is added later, this policy and the cookie handling must be updated before that change is published.
Data retention and rights
Contact messages should be retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain correction records or meet legitimate administrative obligations. Privacy rights and required disclosures vary by jurisdiction; use the contact form for a privacy request concerning information submitted through this site.
